Our product Liquid Guard®
Thanks to our high level of expertise in coating technology, we can guarantee reliable and long-lasting protection against bacteria, viruses and fungi with Liquid Guard®. While conventional disinfectants only work for a short time, Liquid Guard® provides lasting protection.
The special antimicrobial coating uses innovative nanotechnology to transform surfaces into microscopic “blade fields” of nitrogen molecules. These cut through the cell walls of germs and physically kill them. In contrast to chemical disinfectants, which destroy germs through chemical reactions such as oxidation, Liquid Guard® works purely physically. This also prevents the development of resistance.
Antimicrobial coatings are effective protective layers that stop the growth of harmful microbes on surfaces. They offer protection against a wide range of bacteria, viruses and molds, while other types of coating only protect against wear and tear.
Areas of application*
Due to the antimicrobial protective layer of Liquid Guard®, there are a large number of useful areas of application, especially where hygiene and infection protection have top priority. Below you will find examples of industries and areas of application in which our Liquid Guard® solution is most frequently used.
*Please note – Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information before use.

Indications for the long-term effectiveness of the antimicrobial coating
With the aim of maintaining the antimicrobial coating in the best possible way in order to benefit from the effect in the long term, the following instructions should be taken into account in any case:
- Curing time: After applying Liquid Guard ®, you should give the coated material sufficient time to act and cure; a drying time of at least 6 hours is required for the coating to develop its full effect.
- Gentle cleaning: Only use cleaners with a pH value between 4 and 11 and disinfectants recommended by us. Aggressive chemicals such as scouring milk, paint stripper or chlorinated lime can damage the coating, which is why they should not be used for cleaning.
- Avoid mechanical stress: Sharp objects and vigorous scrubbing should be avoided as these could wear or damage the coating.
- Regular material care: Clean the coated surface regularly to maintain the antimicrobial effect and optimum hygiene.
Removal of the coating is not intended. Overpainting with other coatings should also be avoided, as this could impair or completely prevent the antimicrobial function.
