Our products

Our Nano-Care® ceramic coatings / ceramic sealants are supplied ready to use and can be applied with a microfiber applicator, paint roller or by spraying, depending on the surface. Two highly developed technologies are used: organic ceramics and inorganic quartz.

  • Organic ceramics form a dense, heat-resistant layer that repels water and dirt, and graffiti can be easily removed.
  • Inorganic quartz provides a particularly scratch-resistant silicon dioxide coating that is exceptionally resistant to chemicals and heat.

These innovative technologies are the basis for our high-performance sealing solutions such as Nanoflex ®Dura and Nanoflex® Sapphire New concentrate.

Application requirements for ceramic coating / ceramic sealants

Thorough preparation of the surface to be sealed is essential in order to achieve the optimum effect of our ceramic coatings / ceramic sealants. The following section shows you how to prepare the surfaces ideally and then seal them professionally to achieve the best possible result.

Condition of the substrate during preparation

Thorough preparation of the surface is the first and most important step to ensure effective adhesion of the ceramic coating / ceramic sealant:

  • Mask off surrounding surfaces: Carefully mask off adjacent surfaces to seal only the intended surfaces.
  • Cleaning: Thoroughly remove all residues of grease, oil, wax, silicones, polishes and other contaminants before applying the ceramic coating / ceramic sealant. Use appropriate cleaners and suitable cleaning methods to ensure that no contamination remains on the surface to be sealed.
  • Drying: The surface must be completely dry after cleaning. Any residual moisture can impair the adhesion of the sealant and lead to undesirable reactions.
  • Surface treatment: For a smooth and even seal, the surface should be free of roughness or pores. In some cases, additional sanding or polishing may be necessary, especially with materials such as plastic, metal or glass. This creates the ideal basis for sealing.

Application process

Wear suitable work clothing when applying the sealant and follow all the instructions in the safety data sheet. Also choose a suitable room to prevent draughts and the ingress of dust particles while the surface to be sealed is drying.

  • Applying the sealant: The sealant is applied evenly using a special applicator, microfiber cloth or, depending on requirements, by spraying. Make sure that the surface is completely and evenly covered with the ceramic coating / ceramic sealant.
  • Curing: After application, the sealer must cure completely, depending on the product and ambient conditions. The exact curing time can be found in the product data sheet; it should be observed in any case for optimum results.
  • Polishing: After curing, the surface can be polished for a brilliant shine.

Optimum application temperatures are between +5°C and +30°C, and a relative humidity of 30% to 80% is ideal.

Aftercare

Regular cleaning and care of the sealed material is crucial in order to maintain the protective effect of the ceramic coating / ceramic sealant in the long term. Use gentle cleaning agents and avoid the use of aggressive chemicals that could damage the sealant. As soon as you notice that the properties of the protective coating, such as the beading effect, are diminishing, it may be advisable to refresh the coating in order to achieve optimum results at all times.

How long does a professional ceramic coating / ceramic sealant last?

With the high-quality Nano-Care® ceramic sealants, you can enjoy an impressive durability that varies between several months and up to 10 years, depending on the product and application. The longevity of our ceramic coatings / ceramic sealants is influenced by various factors such as the area of application, surface preparation, regular maintenance and environmental conditions. In order to guarantee the longest possible effect, we recommend complying with all application requirements for our products.

The use of Nano-Care® ceramic sealants not only maintains the protection over the entire period, but also the brilliant shine, so that the treated surface retains its as-new look in the long term and loses less value over the years.

How much does a ceramic coating / ceramic sealant cost?

As the cost of ceramic coating / ceramic sealants depends on a number of individual factors, it is not possible to make a blanket statement about the expected price. Regardless of whether it is a car, a boat, an industrial plant or an airplane, the following parameters play a decisive role in pricing:

Existing damage, soiling or necessary preparatory work such as grinding or polishing can increase the costs

High-quality, multi-component systems are more cost-intensive to control than simpler products.

A higher number of layers improves the protective effect, but also leads to higher costs.
