Intensive protection	The nano-sealing provides an invisible, UV-stable protective layer that protects plastic surfaces from dirt, grease, oil, limescale and mechanical wear and tear, keeping them looking like new for longer. The sealant is abrasion and chemical resistant to most common household and industrial cleaners, with the exception of concentrated lye.

Step-by-step instructions: Plastic sealing

1. careful preparation

Note the temperature: Do not work in direct sunlight or at temperatures above30°C. Avoid hot surfaces.
Thorough cleaning:
1. Remove coarse dirt: Clean the surface thoroughly with water and a large microfiber cloth.
2. Remove grease: Put on gloves and clean the surface again with a pre-cleaner and/or disposable wipes. Make sure the surface is free of grease – fingerprints can impair the effect of the sealant.
3. Drying: Make sure that the surface is completely dry.

2. application of the sealant and curing

Dosage: Moisten a microfiber cloth sparingly with the sealing solution. Approx. 10 ml per square meter is sufficient.
Application and curing: Spread the sealer evenly over the surface. Work quickly, as the liquid dries quickly. Polish the surface until there are no visible streaks. Then allow the surface to cure for 24 hours at room temperature.
Polishing: Carefully remove any residue with a large microfiber cloth.

Refreshing and renewing: how long the protection lasts

The duration of the protection provided by nano-sealing / nano-sealants depends not only on the quality but also on other influences such as compliance with the specifications in the product data sheet during application, the intensity of use or the cleaning agent used for maintenance.

Taking all specifications into account, our Nano-Care® sealants are effective for over 5 years.

In general, however, we recommend checking the effect of the sealant regularly; if, for example, the beading effect diminishes on contact with liquids, we recommend refreshing the sealant by repeating the above application instructions in order to achieve the optimum effect of the sealant at all times.
