Nano-Care also offers a whole range of impregnating agents for indoor use. With these products you can provide your upholstery, sofas, chairs and cushions with a protective coating. The Innovative Technology of Nano-Care for the waterproofing of Textiles
The textiles to be protected are first thoroughly cleaned. Any soiling that is not removed is sealed by the textile waterproofing. This makes cleaning afterwards unnecessarily difficult.
The Nano-Care textile waterproofing is applied with a sponge or with a sprayer. If possible, the waterproofing solution can also be washed in. After drying and the specified exposure time, the fabrics are sustainably protected against penetrating oil or water.
The nano coating of the fibers also creates a micro-rough surface that keeps water and dirt out. This also gives textiles a self-cleaning surface. To clean them, all you need to do is wipe them with a damp cloth or rinse them with running water, for example from a watering can.
However, please do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners. This would destroy the waterproofing layer and make it ineffective. Trust in the advantages that Nano-Care offers you with its products. Nanoflex® Tex 2 is a water-based spray-on product for achieving dirt-, water- and oil-repellent effects. Its ease of use makes it particularly suitable for use in the consumer and retail sectors. Especially absorbent textile substrates are excellently protected by Nanoflex® Tex 2. Main application areas are absorbent upholstery/furniture, as well as suede/alcantara. In addition, most commercially available textiles, carpets and curtains can be treated if they are free of surface-active substances (silicones/surfactants). The product is Ökotex certified (ECO-Passport), UV stable and shows no migration. Nanoflex® Tex 2, through the intelligent arrangement of hybrid (organic and inorganic) structures, is part of the INTELLIGENT HYBRIDS® concept of the Nano-Care Deutschland AG.

Nanoflex® Tex 2 is additionally available in the quality grades Textile and Tex 4. These formulations contain a lower (textile) or higher (Tex 4) proportion of active components.
The product is water-based and not a hazardous material according to ADR and IATA. However, it can also be shipped as a liquid concentrate (Nanoflex® Concentrate TP).

Nanoflex® L-Care is a fluorine-free water-based spray-on product for achieving dirt and water repellent effects on leather. Its ease of use makes it particularly suitable for use in the consumer and retail sectors. The product complies with the ZDHC joint roadmap. Especially smooth leather is excellently protected by Nanoflex® L-Care and experiences a caring effect. In addition, most commercially available textiles, carpets, upholstery and curtains can be treated, as long as they are free of surface-active substances (silicones/surfactants). Due to the intelligent arrangement of hybrid structures (silicon dioxide/wax), Nanoflex® L-Care is part of the INTELLIGENT HYBRIDS® concept of the Nano-Care Deutschland AG.

Our services of textile and fiber materials
The Nano-Care impregnation solutions keep dew, rain and splashing water away from textile and fibrous fabrics. When moistened, the water immediately beads off the surface and does not penetrate the fibers. The capillary action of the fabric is stopped and the textiles always remain dry.
The Nano-Care textile waterproofing creates a micro-rough structure on the surface. Water droplets, mold spores and sharp-edged dust particles are thus kept at a distance from the sensitive fibers. The next time it rains, the water carries the dirt particles away, leaving nothing but a clean surface.
The sheathing of the fibers is permanently protected from contact with water by waterproofing solution from Nano-Care. This reliably prevents mold or rot from spreading in the fabric.
The Textil waterproofing from Nano-Care completely envelops the fabric. It not only protects the fibers and their colors from moisture and dirt. The nano coating also provides some protection against ultraviolet radiation. The fabrics fade less and retain their original colors longer. This prolongs their service life and makes them permanently attractive.

The waterproofing is either washed in or applied. The wash-in method is particularly effective. If this is not possible, several layers of waterproofing agents must be applied, depending on the type of fiber.
The durability of waterproofing of textile and fiber materials depends on their load. Mechanically lightly loaded products such as pavilions, sunshades or fabric roofs of convertibles need at most two refreshings per year. Products exposed to high mechanical stress, such as sofas or armchairs, require more frequent refreshing of textile waterproofing.
The waterproofing agents of Nano-Care do not contain PFC, which is harmful to health and the environment. It has been successfully replaced by harmless silicon oxide – as finely ground sand. Nevertheless, we recommend wearing mouth and eye protection for processing. This will permanently eliminate any risk of an allergic reaction.
The protective film of Nano-Care sealant also has slight protective properties against UV radiation. The colors of convertible roofs, gazebos or sunshades do not fade as quickly due to the treatment with waterproofing of textile and fiber materials. This additionally prolongs the service life of the products.
